Water Logistics Coordinator

The Water Logistics Coordinator is a full time position, and reports to the Water Logistics Manager and contributes to the development and execution of water plans for sourcing and disposal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, and other duties may be assigned:

  1. Reviews and determines the feasibility of water plans developed to both source and dispose of PGE’s water and production brine via trucking. 
  2. Schedules and coordinates the pickup and delivery of water and production brine as part of the execution of developed water plans. 
  3. Works with independent contractors to ensure that each load is properly manifested in accordance with internal requirements.
  4. Responsible to proactively engage as well as onboard new contractors. Tasks and responsibilities include the evaluation of contractor HSE records, ensuring that the necessary internal contractor requirements are appropriate for providing services in a safe and efficient manner
  5. Effectively communicates and enforces corporate environmental and safety policies to contractors.
  6. Negotiates independent contractor pricing.
  7. Evaluates the performance of independent contractors and prioritizes awarding work based on HSE performance, cost and proximity of dispatch locations from PGE’s operations.
  8. Compiles trucking rates and other pertinent contractor information into a concise data tracking spreadsheet.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma, technical school training or Associate’s degree in petroleum gas or related field of study preferred;
  2. Familiarity with the operation of a vacuum truck;
  3. Familiarity with oil and gas industry terminology, processes and resources necessary to meet a natural gas development schedule;
  4. Ability to prioritize and organize workflow;
  5. Demonstrate strength in  written and verbal communication skills
  6. Proficient at the intermediate level with MS Office Products and other computer skills

This position requires travel approximately 10-15% of the time, and working at all locations. Most travel can be accomplished in a day trip.  Position reports to corporate office located in Warren, PA. Must be available for on call status by phone including nights and weekends.
